Answer 11: Lifestyle Communications and Rogers AT&T offers these advanced service options to make your Digital PCS phone more versatile, productive and cost-effective. E-mail service options delivers important and timely messages right to your Digital PCS phone's display screen. An especially convenient method of receiving information discreetly without your phone ringing. Messages will not be lost, even if your phone is turned off.

To receive e-mail on your cellular phone you need to have a Digital PCS wireless phone and a service subscription. Call *811 to subscribe and for pricing details.

By adding e-mail option to your account, Rogers AT&T will assign you an e-mail address.

Your e-mail address will be your 10-digit Rogers AT&T phone number followed by @pcs.rogers.com. Example: 6044337811@pcs.rogers.com

Anyone with access to an e-mail service can send messages (up to 150 characters) to your Digital PCS phone's e-mail address.

Messages Received Alert:

When an e-mail message is received, your Digital PCS phone will alert you with a beep, and an "envelope" symbol will appear on your phone's screen (or another icon - refer to your Digital PCS phone's manual for details). The symbol will display whenever you have unread messages and will update the number of unread messages, each time a new one is received.

Message Storage:

If your Digital PCS phone is busy, turned off, or you are outside a Digital PCS coverage area, your messages will be stored up to 72 hours (three days) until your phone becomes accessible or you return to a Digital PCS coverage area. We will periodically attempt to deliver messages to your phone.
Answer 12: We no longer facilitate the use of Canadian roam numbers on the Rogers AT&T Wireless network. The outdated roam number system was discontinued because it was constantly causing customer concern with billing and consistency problems. This is a trend amongst other wireless companies and is becoming industry standard.

Our decision to discontinue Canadian roam numbers was also based on the development of our new pricing, which significantly discounts long distance charges.
Answer 13: we are unable to cancel your accounts online. Please visit your local Rogers AT&T Wireless locations or call 1-800-226-8352 and a representative will gladly assist you. They are open to serve you Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 9 PM and on Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Answer 14: At this time we are not offering the option of purchasing phones without choosing a price plan on our site. We are currently exploring the possibility of adding that as a feature in the future. Currently, the phone prices we are offering are based on both the purchase of a phone and selection of a price plan. You can visit one of our Lifestyle Communications locations for hardware pricing information, or feel free to contact a location closest to you.
Answer 15: Local and long distance calls throughout Canada are 33¢ per minute. Calls from Canada to any US destination are 66¢ per minute.
Answer 16: If you wish to take advantage of the new high-speed data services, you must purchase a new GSM phone. However, depending on your needs, the TDMA network may be the better network to utilize. For example, existing TDMA customers will see no change to their current service. In fact, TDMA network performance could be enhanced as a result of network traffic being reduced on the TDMA network. Frequent U.S. travelers with little need for data services beyond SMS will find the coverage and pricing associated with TDMA to be more than satisfactory.

Answer 19: All of the Rogers plans offer per second billing after the first minute on all digital services except for Pay as You Go.

Per Second Billing reduces your costs by reflecting your actual airtime usage instead of rounding up to the nearest minute. After the first minute, all local calls are charged on a per second basis from the time you initate the call (hit send/call).
Answer 20: Here are some of the benefits you will receive being a Rogers AT&T Wireless Customer:

- Odds are anywhere you travel within Canada, you will have coverage on Rogers AT&T Wireless's analog network meaning you will almost always be in touch.
- Even for individuals who may not travel across the country, network coverage is still very important if you consider how often you might travel to the suburbs, or to the countryside to visit clients, the cottage, friends & relatives, etc.

2) Extensive digital network (83% of Canadian population)
-Rogers AT&T Wireless offers the most extensive digital coverage in Canada. This means your digital PCS features like Caller I.D., and extended battery life will follow you almost anywhere in Canada you travel.
-And where it is necessary to hand-off the signal from our digital to analog network, this process is seamless. Therefore unlike the new PCS companies with limited digital coverage and no analog network of their own, your call won't be dropped as you drive from the city to the suburbs and beyond.

3)Unsurpassed wireless coverage in North America.
-Our alliance with AT&T Wireless allows anyone who travels to the U.S. for business or pleasure, whether once a year, or once a week to benefit from Rogers AT&T Wireless's seamless digital PCS coverage to more U.S. cities than any other Canadian wireless carrier. With dual band/dual mode handset, your digital PCS features like Caller ID will follow you to most places you travel in the U.S.
-Our Home & Away feature, standard to all digital PCS customers, means that you pay only 95¢ per minute (Cdn currency) for local calls made in the U.S.

4)Per second billing for all digital PCS customers
-Unlike some other PCS companies, with Rogers AT&T Wireless, digital PCS calls are billed to the second after the first minute, and not rounded up to the next minute.
-This can translate to significant cost savings.

5)First incoming minute free
-Receive up to 400 incoming minutes free with intermediate, and heavy usage digital PCS price plans.
-Can provide significant savings to customers who receive a large number of incoming calls on their wireless phone.
-Customers need to worry less about leaving their phone on to take incoming calls, and therefore, can always keep in touch.

6)No term and reduced term option
-Now Rogers AT&T Wireless offers the customer a choice of no term, and a reduced term option (1 year term).
-No term price plans are ideal for customers who are uncertain of their future wireless needs and want the flexibility to terminate their wireless service at any time.
-In exchange for a one year contract, Rogers AT&T Wireless customers will enjoy the benefits of reduced handset costs without the need to make a long-term commitment.

7)National distribution network

Therefore, almost anywhere in Canada you travel, there is a Rogers AT&T Wireless authorized dealer or retailer to help you with any questions, or problems you might encounter with your wireless phone.
