  How to report an emergency
Your wireless phone can make the difference between an accident and a tragedy. So it's important to know how to properly report an emergency. If you find yourself in this situation, remain calm and follow these simple steps:
  1. Pull off to the side of the road when it is safe to do so and dial 911.
  2. Give your name and wireless phone number first and identify yourself as a wireless user.
  3. Give the exact location of the incident. Landmarks and street names can be extremely helpful.
  4. State the service required - police, fire, ambulance
  5. Report any known injuries
  6. Report suspect person(s) and their direction of travel
  7. Stay on the line until indicated by the operator
